A wonderful 4th of July!

For the 4th of July this year we celebrated all weekend. Friday we went to see the hot air balloons in Provo. They didn't go up because of the wind. Then to the dino museum at Thanksgiving Point. Saturday Connor and I went to Toys R Us. Sunday we went to Church and did a few fire works. Monday we went to Big Cottonwood Canyon and hiked Donut Falls. It was a GREAT family weekend!

I turned 32!

I had a wonderful birthday! Went to school with Connor and every one in his class made me a card. It was very sweet. Then off to shopping with my Grandma... Lots of cute clothes for me, but the best part was hanging out with my Grandma! Then Wes and Connor took me out to dinner at Red Robbin... It was sooo yummy! This was my first birthday I didn't get cake... thanks to Connor's teacher I did get some yummy chocolate covered oreos. :)

Easter 2010

I was looking and I don't know how I forgot to post pictures of Easter, but I did. So here they are. We had a great Easter. It started on Good Friday when we died eggs and made Hot Cross buns. Then the Herriman egg hunt on Sat. Since we were going to the Huntley's for lunch on Sunday. Connor wanted the Easter Bunny to take all the eggs to their house. Sunday morning the Easter Bunny made a scavenger hunt for the basket. He left clues on each thing that Connor had to read and then hunt. It was so fun watch Connor fill his basket. Then we went to church and had a great service. Connor's class played the bells and did a great job. Then it was time for the fun stuff. We had a great lunch with the Huntley's and then an egg hunt. Melissa had it set up so cute for us. We had a great time. The food and company was perfect.

Tuilps... Tulips... and more Tulips

We went to Thanksgiving Point to see all the tulips. It was a perfect day! We ended up getting a membership thanks to my friend Melissa. We will be going back to see the tulips again. They were only 35% bloomed. Connor and Zoe ran, jumped, and rolled.

A Day at Wheeler Farm

We had so much fun today at Wheeler Farm. The big hit for Connor, other than hanging out with Zoe, was the out house.He has been talking about it for days. They spent hours climbing the tree.

My Baby is 6!

Where did the last 6 years go??? Connor is now 6 and doing so many things. He loves school and is reading many books. He is in gymnastics and loves it. The uneven bars seem to be the coolest. He LOVES Toy Story and swinging outside. For his birthday we opened presents (all of them had something to do with space or Toy story) then we went to the Pie for lunch it was so YUMMY! We then took him to gymnastics then home to eat cake! There was a special present waiting for him when he went to bed... A new Woody doll - not just a regular Woody doll, but the exact one that Andy had. We had a great day!

SNOW DAY!!!

Woke up to snow yesterday... and we couldn't wait to go play in it.

The BIG Day!

Yesterday Connor went to the dentist to have 3 cavities filled. He did so good. I was so proud of him. He got to watch Toy Story and ride in the wheel chair out to the car. The first thing he asked was "Do I get to keep this" meaning the wheel chair. We came home and snuggled on the couch and watched a movie until his face was no longer feeling funny. After that he wanted a milk shake so he got a chocolate milk shake. Later he went to his first day of tumbling. He had so much fun. He did cartwheels and the balance beam. He can't wait to go next week.

Update!

I am finally updating my blog. We have been so busy since Christmas. We have a new member of our family. Her name is Raylee May. She is so sweet. She will never take the place of Nalla, but will make her own place in this family. She is a Mini Shih Tzu. She was born on December 14th.

The Year of Santa!

We had a wonderful Christmas! Connor believed in the magic this year of Santa Claus. It was fun to pretend with him.

May favorite present was the handprint wreath Connor made me in school. It had the sweetest poem attached that made me cry.


Connor got lots of cool things, but I think his favorite was the imaginex space shuttle. Although all the Toy Story came in at a close second.

Connor still loves to dress up. Christmas was a good oppertunity to get a new shirt and tie. He really wanted a dress jacket to go with it.

The Curtis Christmas party was lots of fun. Connor had no problem sitting on Santa's lap this year if it ment he might get a REAL space shuttle.
