Ready for Spring!

Saturday was a great day to be outside. Connor wanted to go roller skating, so we did. He was so proud of himself for doing it all by himself. I love days like this that we can just play. Life is short - we need to play more!

The New Look!

Connor has a friend in school that spikes his hair. Well Connor is just now catching on... Sunday it started... we have to spike it every day. Yesterday it was snowing and I went to let Nalla out and he was very worried about his spikes. Everyday seems to be a new adventure with its ups and downs. He is growing up so fast. Since we went to Walk with the Dinos he has grown at least 2 inches and turned into this little adult. Today in the car he was telling me how he wants to fly planes when he grows up. I told him that is great, but he needs to finish school, well that opened up a whole new very serious conversation. He analyzed his whole life (I wonder where he gets that from???). He is such an amazing little boy, I just only wish he didn't have to grow up so fast.

Connor loves to take a bath in the kitchen sink. This morning was no exception. He is getting a little big, but still knows how to have fun.

Walking with the Dinosaurs

Today we went to Walking with the Dinosaurs at the Delta Center (ESA). I don't know who was more excited Wes or Connor. It was very good. Connor was a little scared at the start, but before intermission he was sitting by himself glued to the show. Of course the best part was T-Rex!

1. We moved to a new house.
2. Wes hurt his arm and had to have surgery.
3. We made new friends.
4. Connor started pre-school and loves it.
5. Connor got his first big boy bike.
6. Tiffany turned 30!
7. Connor sat on Santa's lap for the first time.
8. After 7 years we finally had a Christmas tree bigger than Connor.
9. Connor is no longer a cowboy.
10. Wes is only 5 classes away from graduating.

Christmas Day Is Here!

Christmas at the Bowling house was wonderful other than the foot of snow that we woke up to. Connor had us up at 5:30 and we were done by 6:30. Connor's favorite toy was the Geo Air that he has been talking about for months. Wes gave me footie pj's and Connor gave me a tree he had made in preschool - I love them! We enjoyed a quiet morning of just the three of us. Then we went to my Grandma's where we enjoyed good food and more presents.

Curtis Christmas Party

Connor sat on Santa's lap for the first time today (well with a little help from his Auntie Tina) and told him what he wanted for Christmas. We have always told Connor the truth about Santa, but this year Connor seems to want to beleive in the magic. We had a great time visiting with family. Wes was home sick, so he didn't get to join in on the festivities.

Christmas Program

Today was Connor's Christmas Program for school. It was wonderful. I know I was overwhelmed with emotion. Connor had lots of support from his aunt Tracy, our neighbors Heather and Rex, and his very proud Mommy and Daddy. There were also many others that were that were supporting and loving him from a far. He was dressed and ready to go at 7:00 this morning (the program started at 9:00). Any one who know Connor knows that he loves his dress shirts and ties. He was so excited to wear his chirstmas outfit. We love you Connor!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving at the Bowling house started at 6:00 am. Connor woke us up so we could make a gingerbread house. As you can see Connor enjoyed eating the frosting.

Then we pulled out all the Christmas stuff and started decorating...

Then we sat down and enjoyed a wonderful turkey dinner... Yummy! We hope all of you enjoyed your Thanksgiving as much as we did.

Monday Connor caught a bug and was throwing up most of the night. Then he gave it to me. So we have spent most of the week in bed while Wes has been in Texas helping his mom. It is probaly a good thing that he has been gone. I am not sure where we got the bug, but I know it is going around. I have wiped the house down from top to bottom in hopes that I have killed all the germs. It will be nice to be over it and get back to life.
