Cherry Hill

We went to Cherry Hills the first summer we had our trailer (in 2007). We had so much fun that we planned on going every year. Well things happen and we have not gone till now. We stayed two nights and had so much fun. Next year we are going to make it 3 nights and relax a little more.

We had the best spot!

We had to find a Wal-Mart the first day - we forgot some things. Connor found these PJ and he had to have them along with the Woody blanket. I think he would have lived in them the whole time. As you can see Woody also joined us on our trip.

We spent most of the time in the Lazy River. Connor loved his alligator.

Before we headed home we played a game of miniature golf.

We are happy to be home, but we already planing our next trip....

4th of July!

As most of you know Connor has a blockage in his tummy. We have done everything from x-rays to blood tests. His doctor sent us to a GI doctor at Primary Children's. They have a bowl program that we started this weekend. We had fireworks, but not the kind you are thinking. I knew that we would be staying very close to home so we got a slipin' slide. Connor had so much fun. It was nice to see him forget about all the yucky stuff he has had to drink. I think he will need to continue this program one more week. Please keep him in your prayers.

Playing in the RAIN!

It has rained so much that we still have not turned on our sprinklers. One day Connor couldn't stand it anymore and he had to puddle jump!

I was out running around while Connor was at school and I found these glasses. They made for a great afternoon.

Graduation Day!

Today Connor graduated from pre-school. He has grown up so much since he started. He has so many new interest. It would not shock me if he grew up to be a pilot, race car driver, police officer, cowboy, veterinarian, and the list goes on. He loves to draw, write, and count. Congratulations Connor! WE LOVE YOU!

Future Pilot!

Saturday we went to the Air Show at Hill Air force Base. It was the best day ever not only did we get to spend the day together we got to see cool airplanes. Connor was so excited that I don't know if he ever stopped smiling. His favorite was the stunt planes and the bi plane. He also now has a love for the space shuttle.

The Start of a Garden

We started a garden this year. I hope something (other than weeds) grows. Connor has been a big help with planting and watering. He loves to go out every morning to see what's new. We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, pumpkins, beets, carrots, and red and green peppers. I am learning that this garden stuff takes a lot of patients and for those that know me... I am anything but patient. Check back for updates on how our garden grows.

In Loving Memory

As most of you know Nalla has been sick with a really yucky bacteria in her ears. Our options were to do surgery which would have left her deaf in both ears, to try medication that would kill most of the bacteria, but there was a good chance it would come back, or to keep her comfortable with pain medication for the rest of her life and she would go deaf. We have been watching and praying for her over the last 2 months and she is still in pain. We have chosen to take Nalla's pain away and send her to heaven (the hardest decision we have ever had to make). There will always be a place in our hearts for her that no dog will ever fill. We will miss you Nalla Monster!

Go Brown Bees!

It has been a busy time at the Bowling house. We signed Connor up for Tee Ball and he now loves baseball. I also enjoyed being the coach. I was not so hot on the idea at first, but we had a great team. I would say the best team. All the kids were so cute and each one so diffrent. We even hit a few home runs. We also got our garden started, but you will have to wait for pictures.
